What benefits can I receive?

THE METHODIST YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO:
The Methodist University Yellow Ribbon Program is available to the first 600 qualified applicants for the 2011-2012 academic year. Upon acceptance, Methodist University and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs will provide tuition assistance above and beyond funds provided from the base GI Bill rate of compensation, allowing qualified undergraduate veterans to attend MU at no cost.
- Up to $5,400 per year per student from MU, not to exceed the cost of tuition.
- The Department of Veterans Affairs will match at the same amount up to 50% of the difference between the student’s tuition benefit and the total cost of tuition and fees.
- In some cases, additional financial benefits are available for books and living expenses.
